Should I consider food allergy tests?
I'm fairly certain I'm allergic or sensitive to mint causes stinging, sneezing, coughing, throat tightening and nausea and apples causes major stomach cramps , they aren't life threatening just unpleasant. I'm thinking if I have these maybe I have sensitivity to similar foods. I have a question about allergys and the liver. Can allergy test or allergy shots affect the liver?
I never had symptoms of allergys until about 2 and a half years ago. My body itches until I bleed from scratching. Some times I get hives too. It can be unbearable at times.I have even been to the ER a few times it was so bad. This summer I had allergy test in June that showed a reaction to about 75 % of what they test you for. The allergist prescribed a few different kinds of of medicines and allergy shots. The shots started in late July. The middle of August I got real sick and my family dr. decided to do a scan on my right upper side where pain was. My liver was swollen. My right kidney also had something mildly wrong with the flow or something. Come to find out my liver enzymes were really elevated then too, They have went down and up again since then though. The reason I wanted to know about the allergy test and shots is because I know the liver has something to do with fighting allergys.Just incase anyone was wondering, I was checked for hepatitis and it's negative and I rarely ever drink I mean rarely.I am farely thin also.
How is an allergy test done?..will the doctor see the cuts on my upper arm/stomach?
